 1. Narendra Modi was born on 17th September 1950 in Vadnagar, Mehsana district, Gujarat, India.

2. He was the third of four children born to Damodardas Mulchand Modi and Heeraben Modi. 3. Modi completed his schooling in Vadnagar and graduated from the University of Delhi in 1978 with an honors degree in political science. 4. He joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a volunteer at the age of 8. 5. Modi was appointed as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001 and held the position until 2014. 6. In 2014, he was elected as the Prime Minister of India and was the first person from outside the Indian National Congress to hold the position. 7. Modi has led the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to two consecutive election victories in the Lok Sabha in May 2014 and again in 2019. 8.
